Go Travel Bag (Slate and Shell),

A padded bag for easily transporting your go set. The bag is made of heavy cordura nylon cloth and designed for a slotted or folding board, which is protected on all sides. There is also a place for your bowls that are held by Velcro straps (leave the stones inside), and room for some books and even a clock. The bag has a regular handle and a shoulder strap.

This is the only bag that I know of that is built specifically for transporting a folding or slotted go board, stones and bowls. Each item is kept apart from the rest, but for the stones which are kept inside the bowls. The board lies flat with padding on the outside below the lower half, a sheet of fabric between the halves and a padded divider between the upper half and the rest of the bag. The upper half has custom made velcro retaining straps for the bowls. There are two models of this product, the original and a later edition.

The original uses thicker padding material sewn inside the outer walls of the bag, a heavier duty zipper, a better sewn shoulder strap, and stronger snap shackles and D-rings connecting the shoulder strap to the bag as compared to the "newer edition". The two are easily distinguished as the logo on the original bag is correctly oriented, on the logo on the "newer edition" is upside down.
