 I got a set of these about 2 years ago when KGT was calling its grades “standard” “moon” and “snow”. Don’t be fooled by descriptions of the grain as “curved” “swirled” or “indistinct”. Every stone has straight, visible grain lines. Some stones even have visible grain on the flip side, in a horseshoe pattern. I really like the variety of these stones. The grain lines can be light or dark, thick or thin, closely or widely spaced. Varying occurence of these properties makes each stone unique. This is different from snow grade stones, which (although pretty) look mostly the same.
