 I really think that these books are a must have. I do not read korean, but the content is very clear and very pedagogical. Somes few pages in each book teach some basics. The other are mainly tsumego, tesuji and opening exercises. I was especialy impressed by the tsumego : they are not only reading exercises, they are subtle means to learn fundamentals about shapes. In fact, these books are simply all about fundamentals (shapes, opening, tesuji…). If you want to study basics, I think this is a very good (the best ?) choice. I don’t think there is something equivalent in english. Similar to "Baduk: Childrens Practice Book (6 Volume set)" |
