![]() I found the first 50 pages (where he describes his career as a go-player) very entertaining. However the gamre reviews are somewhat strange. Nie will praise himself at least once per diagram. Apart from that, the reviews are pretty good and worth studying. Collector's item - Written by ilan
This is the Go equivalent of the classic book The Soviet School of Chess, a collector’s item to keep for its propaganda. Get it before the final downfall of communism. Nice book to catch the Nie's feelings - Written by erguvani
This is the first go book i read, so it is a precious book for me. You can get opinion about writer’s life and feel yourself in to it. If you like this, autobiography like books you should not miss it. Pushing past propoganda - Written by Javaness
![]() Once you rip out the first 50 pages of propoganda material at the start of this book, the content starts to impress. The material can be hard to absorb, but there is a lot of insight given into how professionals think. Counting and invasion stragies impressed me. Don’t buy this book if you prefer light reading.
