CobbThis pocket sized book covers the most common joseki patterns starting with a stone on the 4-4 point, including double approaches and invasions on the 3-3 point. Comments & ReviewsGood introduction to hoshi joseki - Written by NannyOgg
![]() Small and cheap book, containing a good basic level introduction to basic hoshi joseki. The first half of the book shows about 25 hoshi joseki, not many variations. Those definitely are the very common ones which everyone should know. The second half of the book is problems, which direction to play out of two choices. All pretty basic and simple. It has 14 problems. I suspect the book will be useful from around 20k to 10k, after that you will know most of those joseki already.
