I had blogged about this set and my overall purchase experience back in December of 2005. There are more details than you’ll ever need in those links so I won’t repeat them here.

Prospective customers in Europe may find that some budget sets (thinner boards & stones; but real slate and shell) from Kuroki Goishi Ten will be almost comparable in price after adding in shipping costs and any VATs. Prospective customers in Canada can find equivalent sets from The Go Gamestore.
