![]() The Life & Death problems in this set start hard and get harder. I think this will be a core part of my study getting from amateur 1d-9d, but I’m not quite ready for it yet. As AGA 2k with weak tsumego strength (but getting stronger :)), I’d say that if you’re looking for that next level of problems, this is a good option. The program is solid (writing about the PocketPC version), though the graphics leave something to be desired. It’s evident that the program was designed for portability over looks, but anyone who’s read kifu from a book can’t be too distracted by this program. The only big downfall to this program is that you can’t add your own tsumego… this does make sense based on the type of problems available and the many variations per problem. This program also requires that all variations be solved before advancing – this is something novel in a tsumego program. Four stars due to the collection of 1250+ dan level problems, losing a star (maybe two) due to graphics and lack of more weaker level problems.
