YMI Wild Jujube Go Bowls

This set of jujube (Chinese date wood) bowls are made from wild jujube trees. Wild jujube wood has a coarser and more varied grain than farmed jujube wood. This is an excellent choice for affordable pair of bowls to add to your Go set.

These bowls are sold by themselves with no stones included. Please see our other listings for a selection of fine Go stones. Will fit stones small to medium stones up to 9.2mm (size 33).

I was expecting rustic, but usuable; i got rustic but barely usable. One of the lids was unfinished (i.e. there was a plug rather than a lip), while the other one was incredibly hard to remove. I got these for not much more than YMI's opening bid amount on ebay, and at that price they're an acceptable substitute for plastic or cardboard. At YMI's retail price, you'd be better off buying something else.
