I have 2 shin kaya Go boards. 1 from Kuroki and 1 from YMI.

Kuroki Shin Kaya Board: Color-rather pale (very very light brownish yellow), the board color here looks much better than the real one that I’ve got Grain-beautiful and similar to kaya, fully ‘masame’ Sound Quality-low pitch and deep sound, I like it very much, pleasing to the ears Overall- (Very good)

I would fully recommend this item to anyone with a budget but would like to get a fine quality board. However, if you dislike pale colors, then this board might not satisfy you fully. Anyway, full thumbs up for Mr K as my board arrived in flawless condition.
