A great collection, unfortunaly the books them selves are not put together well. Other than that its a great show peice and great for studying.

Great books. Nice looks. Quality of paper and binding is not great unfortunately, but it is a lot better then most Chinese go books. The box itself is very nice and the set makes for a good “show piece”.

As the number of moves is limited to 50 max, replaying is easy. Go Seigen has a beautifull style and the go played then was a mix between tradition and all out innovation. Strong players have told me that Go Seigen’s games are often hard to understand even for 7D’s, but I just like his style.

I plan to play through all 800 games in time, I hope to be 6D by then;)

The quality of these books is much higher than I honestly expected. They are truly stunning to look at. Inside the diagrams are large and easy to follow, 50 moves or so per page. With just over 800 kifu, there is plenty of material for a lifetime of study. I’m thouroughly pleased with this investement.
