This board is made from many layers of Chinese bamboo pressed together before the relief carvings on its side are etched in by skilled artisans. Bamboo is a quick growing, environmentally friendly material with a tensile strength equivalent to steel. It’s probably as heavy as steel too, as this board weighs over 70 pounds! It will likely become a centerpiece in your home or Go club.

The 11.9mm Yunzi stones are the largest Yunzi you’ll find. It has an added size an heft to the natural beauty that makes Yunzi it the preferred stone of choice in China. The stones come in an equally imposing yet graceful Indian rosewood bowl. Included is a booklet on how to play go, "The Way to Go", by Karl Baker.
