![]() A few Dan players I know told me it was a 10 Kyu book not 20-15. So don’t worry if you can’t solve the problems. But the book helps. 20-kyu to 15-kyu? I'm way behind! - Written by malweth
![]() I actually have the Chinese version of this book (set of two, this book and Volume 4). The problems are nowhere near 15-kyu or I’m further behind than I thought in Tsumego ability! These problems are equivalent difficulty to the Korean Problem Academy found on GoBase. The beginning of this book is approximately equal to the harder problems in Academy Level 2 (7-kyu AGA) and the end of the book is probably equivalent to the middle of Level 3 (2-kyu AGA). I may not be exactly right on this, but I think I’m close… One thing’s for certain. Mastery of this book (in fact, the entire series) is required to reach Dan levels.
